An older woman/younger man, a conscious theme through my fictional genre, is it still a taboo? And how much older is an acceptable age difference in 2018?

1- I found this on the subject in 2017:

“As one of the leading dating sites for mature singles in Australia, there’s no shortage of older women dating younger men on EliteSingles. Our users’ profiles are manually verified by our customer service team so that we can ensure our members are serious about using our premium service to look for long-lasting love. That means our site is an ideal tool for finding a serious romance with a younger partner safely and securely.”

2- In 1979 Forbes Magazine wrote this:

3- By 1989 we’d moved on to this:

If you have more curiosity, now’s the time to check out Mia and Carlos, a romantic suspense book  TARGET in the SUN on sale on Amazon  Reviewers are saying:

“Five Giant Stars! I read it one day! Could not put it down and loved this unique and brilliant approach to letting each character tell the story through their own narrative. Highly recommend it and I plan on reading more novels from this author. Thank you, Lynda Filler!” Rafael Hines, NYT Best Selling author of Bishop’s War.

“Gripping and suspenseful, clever and sharp, Target in the Sun is a romantic thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat. I enjoyed the format, telling parts of the story through letters. I also enjoyed how smoothly it read, the type of book that sucks you in. Highly recommended.” Jane H.

“This book is flowing, sensual, and exciting in its tragic and heartbreaking travels through two lives, as viewed by the agent. Her empathy for such lives that are constantly filled with obstacles creates an incredible bond with them. Well written with gorgeous details and descriptions.” S.J.
