The Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem. We arrived at night my first day in Jerusalem. Little did I know that there were terrorism alerts for this very location while I was there!
The Damascus Gate, one of the entrances to the Old Quarter. Jerusalem and many other parts of the Middle East are dangerous places to visit. But if you let fear overcome you, you would never step outside your comfort zone. My apartment for my time in Jerusalem was a short walk inside these walls.
